On my solo trip to Las Vegas in 2008 to visit Star Trek: The Experience one last time I stayed at Binion’s on Fremont Street.  It’s different on Fremont Street, and I found that I liked it A LOT.  In fact I never even went to The Strip.

I ran across this guy playing the saxophone in front of Binion’s one night and was very impressed with him.  His name is Carl “Safe-Sax” Ferris (great last name!) and he was awesome.  So awesome that I purchased one of his CDs (below) and he autographed it (also below).  The CD immediately made its way to my iPod.
