Here is the reply that I got from The French Laundry.  I won’t continue berating them because I know I accomplished that all too well in the letter I originally wrote.  Below is the response I received from the owner of the French Laundry.  I look at this letter in a couple different ways.  The first is, *Hey*, he actually wrote back, which I didn’t expect.  It’s true that he didn’t try to excuse or defend the experience I had that day, but at the same time I’ve not heard of any improvement since my last visit.  It’s very well written (albeit in one single paragraph), but he did address most of my issues and I respect that he wrote back.

Will I ever return? No. It’s simply not my kind of place, and like the Holling family, I can hold a serious grudge.
